The Permanence Team is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to work collaboratively with families and support children looked after by the Local Authority with a Care Plan of adoption. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where you'll help children achieve stability and security for their future.
About the Role
As part of the Permanence Team, you will:
- Undertake court work proceedings.
- Use evidence-based interventions to effect positive change.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and carers.
- Work closely with colleagues in the Children in Care Service and external partners.
- Manage your workload effectively, prioritising tasks to meet timescales.
About You
- Recognised Social Work qualification (degree/diploma) and registered with Social Work England.
- Experience working with looked after children (LAC), court teams, or safeguarding services.
- Previous experience of adoption and Child Permanence Report (CPR) writing.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Skilled in conflict resolution and collaborative working.
