7am - 8am & 4pm - 6pm, 52 weeks per year

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caretaker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents. This position requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and support, making it essential for the Caretaker to be attentive to the needs of those they serve.
Duties
The Caretaker will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Open and close the school premises daily
- Carry out basic maintenance and minor repairs
- Ensure the site is clean, safe and secure
- Support with deliveries and site access
- Assist with deep cleaning during school closure periods.
Experience
While prior experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not mandatory. The following skills are desirable:
- Reliable and proactive
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
