Head of Kitchen (Primary School)
Location: Beeston, NG9 6HE
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:30am to 1:30pm (Term Time Only)
Salary: £13.27 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Weekly Hours: 25 hours
Setting: Working within a school environment

A Head of Kitchen is required to lead the lunchtime catering service at a primary school in Beeston. This role ensures pupils receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation and serving of meals
• Manage kitchen staff and daily operations
• Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as required
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen

• Previous experience in a similar catering role
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Reliable and proactive approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one
