Virtual Care Advisor
Location: Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury, SY3 8HQ
Salary: £13.90 per hour PAYE.
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, Monday - Friday: 9am - 5pm with 30 minute unpaid break.
Duration: Temporary basis, 3-month temporary contract with potential for fixed-term opportunity.

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality care and support in innovative ways? Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our Client, Shropshire Council, for a dedicated individuals to join our pioneering Virtual Care Delivery Service, which uses Technology Enabled Care (TEC) to provide remote support to clients across the region.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver scheduled remote video care calls to individuals, promoting independence and wellbeing.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and prompt daily tasks such as mealtimes, personal care, and medication.
- Monitor TEC systems and dashboards to ensure prompt acknowledgements and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Maintain accurate, real-time records of all interactions using our designated system.
- Provide consistently excellent customer service and contribute to a supportive virtual care environment.
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant previous care experience as a Support Worker, Care Assistant.
- Strong IT literacy and confidence using digital systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships and provide empathetic support remotely.
- Demonstrates strong understanding of confidentiality, with a friendly, welcoming, and professional approach.
