Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Casual Grounds Person to join our team based at Pike Lane Depot. This is a flexible, casual role designed to provide cover for staff absences due to holidays and sickness across the Glossop and Buxton areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with general grounds maintenance duties
- Ensure outdoor areas are kept clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Operate equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Support the team in delivering high standards of service
Requirements:
- Previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role is desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and flexible with a proactive attitude
- Willingness to work on a casual basis, sometimes at short notice
