Opus People Solutions is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Impact on a Client's Business Award at the prestigious 2026 Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) Awards.
Hosted by the REC, the professional body representing the UK recruitment and staffing industry, the awards celebrate excellence, innovation, and outstanding achievements across the sector. Being recognised as a finalist is a significant accomplishment and reflects the impact of the work delivered by recruitment professionals and organisations throughout the UK.
The Impact on a Client's Business Award recognises recruitment organisations that have helped transform a client's workforce through effective attraction, retention, and staffing strategies. Judges look for evidence of a genuine partnership that has delivered measurable improvements to a client's resourcing challenges and long-term workforce objectives.
Opus People Solutions has been shortlisted alongside Northamptonshire Children's Trust (NCT) in recognition of our successful partnership to transform the Trust's workforce strategy. Working collaboratively, we have implemented innovative recruitment solutions that have helped increase the number of permanent employees, reduce reliance on agency workers, and improve temporary-to-permanent conversion rates.
The results achieved through this partnership have created a more sustainable workforce model for NCT, supporting greater workforce stability and helping ensure the Trust can continue delivering vital services to children and families across Northamptonshire.
Commenting on the shortlisting, Selena Ayling, Managing Director, Opus People Solutions said:
"It's fantastic to see our partnership with Northamptonshire Children's Trust recognised by the REC. At Opus, we believe the best results come from working closely with our clients, understanding what success looks like for them and continually evolving our approach to help them meet new challenges and opportunities. It's been a pleasure to work with Colin and the NCT team, building a strong partnership founded on trust, shared ambition and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes and this shortlisting reflects the dedication demonstrated by everyone involved.”
The REC Awards ceremony will take place in London on Thursday 5 November 2026, where recruitment professionals from across the industry will come together to celebrate excellence and share best practice.
We look forward to joining Northamptonshire Children's Trust and our fellow finalists for what promises to be a fantastic evening of recognition and celebration.
Congratulations to everyone involved in this achievement, and thank you to Northamptonshire Children's Trust for their continued partnership.
