We were honoured to attend the 10th annual Making the Difference Awards, hosted by Vertas Group, on Friday, 7th November. The elegant black-tie ceremony took place at milsoms, Kesgrave Hall, where 180 guests gathered to celebrate remarkable achievements across the Group.
The evening was a true testament to the dedication and talent of colleagues, with finalists recognised for going above and beyond in their roles. We are delighted to announce that the hard work and commitment of our teams were acknowledged on the night, with our colleagues taking home two awards.
Victoria Butcher, Recruitment Lead, was named Colleague of the Year, an accolade sponsored by DPL. Her commitment to excellence and her positive impact on those around her have made a significant difference to her team and the wider business. Victoria expressed her appreciation, saying:
“I am very grateful to have won the Colleague of the Year award. These awards are a fantastic demonstration of the hard work going on across the business in different service areas. It’s great to be rewarded and recognised. I had a brilliant evening, and I hope to be invited again in the future! Thank you to Ruksana Begum, Head of Specialist Services, for my nomination. Ruksana’s support as a manager allowed me to do the work that earned this award.”
In addition, the Opus Teach team was honoured with Team of the Year, sponsored by Bidfood. This recognition reflects the exceptional collaboration and dedication demonstrated by the team. Ross Lambert, Operations Lead at Opus Teach, shared his pride in the team’s achievement:
"I’m incredibly proud that our team has been named ‘Team of the Year’ at the Making the Difference Awards. Every day, they put in the hard work and uphold the highest standards of recruitment practice. At Opus Teach, success is truly a collective effort; everyone plays a vital role in our day-to-day operations.
