LABC provides public sector building control with technical guidance, accredited education, performance standards and validation assessments for 3,000 surveyors and technicians working for Councils across England and Wales.
Following a successful recruitment of over 140 trainees, LABC is recruiting more Trainee Building Control Surveyors in multiple locations across England.
The LABC Academy Trainee Building Control Surveyor programme provides the perfect opportunity to earn while you learn. During the two-year programme you’ll gain a level 4 and level 5 diploma in building control surveying and earn the skills and experience required to become a Registered Building Inspector with the opportunity to progress to become a fully qualified Chartered Surveyor or Building Engineer and undertake a level 6 or degree in building control surveying.
Alongside receiving education and training, LABC will employ you to work in a local authority near to where you live, allowing you to put your learning to the test in a real-world environment. You’ll be fully supported in your job by LABC and you will have an experienced professional from the local authority to mentor you and provide practical on the job advice and training.
Throughout the course of the programme, you’ll be paid a competitive salary, have your qualifications paid for and begin a career with the potential to earn in excess of £50,000 when qualified and experienced.
