Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various areas, helping to create a welcoming and hygienic environment. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Hours:
12.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, 15:30 - 18:00
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning duties in designated areas including offices, toilets, kitchens, and communal spaces
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to ensure cleanliness
- Clean and sanitise surfaces such as worktops, tables, and equipment
- Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
- Replenish supplies including toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning products
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management
- Adhere to established cleaning procedures and health & safety guidelines
Experience & Skills:
- Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role is desirable but not essential
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
