About the Role
The Marketing & Communications Executive will be part of a dynamic trio (two Executives and one Manager) leading the charge on internal communications, colleague engagement, and employer brand development across the UK.
This role offers the freedom to innovate, the support to grow, and the platform to make a meaningful impact on thousands of colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspire & Connect: Create compelling content and campaigns that bring brand values to life across digital platforms, events, and internal channels.
- Drive Engagement: Lead and support initiatives that make every colleague feel seen, heard, and valued - from recognition schemes to culture-building events.
- Champion Culture: Promote inclusion, openness, and belonging through communications that reflect and celebrate a diverse workforce.
- Shape the Digital Experience: Manage and evolve engagement platforms (including Workvivo) to foster connection, feedback, and community.
- Collaborate for Change: Work closely with the wider team to deliver strategic projects, gather insights, and turn feedback into action.
- Measure What Matters: Track engagement metrics, analyse data, and continuously improve communication strategies.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is hands-on, passionate, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment. They bring creativity, strategic thinking, and a collaborative spirit to every project.
- 2+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or employee engagement (corporate or multi-site preferred)
- Strong understanding of internal communications and employer branding
- Confident using digital platforms and CMS tools to enhance colleague experience
- Skilled in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut for visual content creation
- Comfortable analysing data and reporting on engagement metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel to Derby or Nottinghamshire once a month
- A relevant degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, PR, or similar
