About the job:

We are seeking a Resourcer to join our team at Opus and play a significant part in registering and sourcing workers primarily within Suffolk County Council, and offer support to Recruitment Consultants where necessary. Whilst ensuring that a high level of customer service is delivered at all times, your role will also be to:

-Deliver the ‘Opus way’

-Drive the direct source model

-Manage SCC general enquiries

-Encourage new ways of attracting and registering candidates directly

The location for this role will be East Anglia with remote working available. You will be required to travel to Peterborough approximately once a month. We also have an office based in Ipswich at 2 Friars Bridge Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP1 1RR.

  • Maintain a good understanding and knowledge of departments within Suffolk County Council, primarily to support recruitment and trends
  • Actively identifying and approaching candidates who would be suitable for positions
  • On-going generation of direct source candidates by various means of marketing
  • Managing general enquiries and administration
  • Efficiently registering of new candidates in line with the organisations’ administrative and legislative requirements
  • Offer support and advice to candidates
  • Contributing to maintenance of the candidate database ensuring all information is entered and updated on a regular basis
  • Managing expectations of candidates, with regular updates of the registration process
  • Adhere to Opus’s values and processes
  • Keep in touch with previously identified candidates to check availability for specific assignments
  • Formatting of CVs as required
  • Adhere to compliance and recruitment regulations
  • Contribute to writing effective job adverts and using various methods of advertising on relevant sites (including social media)
  • Achievement of agreed KPI’s and targets, both individual and within a team
  • Contribute to liaising with external suppliers to source specialist candidates when required
  • Contribute to a culture which replicates the Opus values
  • Offer general system and timesheet support to suppliers, clients and workers
  • Ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in service delivery this includes but is not limited to; references, DBS, right to work and governing body confirmation
  • Ensure that you follow all processes and procedures set – The Opus Way.
  • Provide advice and support to the Assistant Operations Manager as and when required
  • Experienced recruitment professional with strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Experience within a similar role
  • Work effectively under pressure by managing own workload and covering colleagues work in absence
  • Be organised and can re-prioritise as the business requires
  • Commercially astute and business focused
  • Evidence of having a positive impact on previous organisations
  • High calibre customer focused approach to working with clients

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and the use and development of operational recruitment software
