About the Role:

Peterborough City Council and Cambridgeshire County Council deliver a range of evidence based parenting programmes (EBPP) across the county. The Local Authority is required to collate all participation and report data through the Mental Health Dataset as well as report data to other key partners.

  • Be responsible for collating, on a monthly basis, live attendance data from a wide range of primary sources relating to the delivery of EBPP,
  • To develop appropriate processes and protocols for collection of relevant data and to ensure officers submitting data are fully trained to follow these processes
  • Ensure accurate and comprehensive records are kept on the delivery of EBPP, delivered by a range of partner organisations.
  • Ensure monthly returns are submitted to the NHS Mental Health Data Set in a timely and accurate manner
  • Be the single point of contact with the NHS and Clinical Commissioning Group relating to data submissions
  • To keep abreast of any new data requirements and to ensure any new requirements are met
  • To support the Early Help Team, in planning the delivery and recording of all Evidence Based Parenting Programmes
  • A good knowledge and understanding of the practical application of a variety of IT packages, including Access based systems, Excel and Office 365 (A)
  • Knowledge of partnership working at all levels including an understanding of the organisational structures of public and private organisations partner agencies (A/I)
  • Competent working knowledge of common ICT software applications and willingness to learn job specific applications including Liquidlogic eCAF system and salesforce (A/I)
  • Knowledge and understanding of Evidence Based Parenting Programmes (A)
  • Knowledge of the Early Help agenda (A)
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Dataset and requirements, to support  the Mental Health Services Monthly Statistics (A/I)
  • Able to accurately record information and data, using appropriate IT packages (AI/I
  • Able to set up processes and methodology to collect and record data, in a logical and clear manner (A/I)
  • Able to analyse and interpret data from the Mental Health Services Monthly statistics, to inform the longer term delivery of the EBPP.
  • Able to write reports in a clear and concise way, and make recommendations based on the statistical evidence presented.
  • Ability to quickly learn new databases, in order to extrapolate a variety of information(A/I)
  • Able to meet deadlines, whilst working quickly and accurately(A/I)
  • Experience of working in multi-agency and multi-disciplinary settings (A/I)
  • Experience of successful partnership working (A/I)
  • Experience of working as part of a team including defining a common purpose, sharing information and working under pressure towards targets (A/I)
  • Proven experience of manipulating and interrogating data sources to extract or report on information (A/I)
  • GCSE’s grade A to C (or equivalent) in English and maths (A)
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, or able to demonstrate significant experience in this field
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development (A)
