About the Role
Northampton Children's Trust is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practitioner to join our Safeguarding Team.
As an Advanced Practitioner, you will:
- Provide expert guidance and support to social workers within the safeguarding team.
- Lead on complex cases, ensuring the highest standards of practice and compliance.
- Contribute to service development and mentor colleagues to drive continuous improvement.
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to safeguard children and promote their welfare
- Assigned a small, manageable caseload to allow time for other key responsibilities
- Mentor and support newly qualifiedand less experienced social workers.
- Work closely with your Team Manager and support the team in their absence.
- Be a key player in safeguarding vulnerable children and planning forpermanence.
- Ensure adherence to legislation, guidance, and best practice.
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Significant post-qualifying experience in safeguarding and child protection.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage complex cases and deliver high-quality outcomes.
