Library contract states 1.5hrs but there will be a second contract for Hawthorns Children Centre (1hr), that is within the library.
Overall hours will be 06:00am to 08:30 (2.5)
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various facilities. This position requires a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in designated areas, including offices, restrooms, and communal spaces.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as required.
- Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or malfunctions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and any issues that arise.
- Drive to different locations as needed to fulfil cleaning responsibilities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any client concerns or requests promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to interact with clients and team members effectively.
- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between sites.
- A customer service-oriented attitude is essential to ensure client satisfaction.
