Winter Warm Pack Administrative Assistant
Pay: £13.69 per hour, 30 hours per week
Location: Melton, IP12 - office based only
Length: 5 months
Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of East Suffolk Council an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide effective and efficient administrative support for the Winter Warm Pack applications and the Suffolk Centres for Warmth team.
As Administrative Assistant your typical duties would be:
- To be responsible for the administrative processing of Winter Warm Pack applications including the data entry, scanning, electronic filing, production of reports, and processing orders for the service.
- To update basic financial records to demonstrate commitment and expenditure against various elements of the scheme.
- To raise purchase orders and receive goods using the Business Central system.
- Regular face to face, telephone, mail and e-mail contact with service users and partners. Providing advice on detailed matters related to the service within the scope of the postholder's knowledge. This would be at a level above that expected of the Customer Services call centre team
- To maintain an excellent level of knowledge and understanding the Winter Warmth Support to be able to advice service users and referral partners confidently and accurately.
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant who have demonstrable experience of carrying out a range of administrative tasks. Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, collaborate well with others and be flexible in your approach to meet the demands of the post and team, high level of IT literacy including Word, Outlook and Excel.
We are looking for ASAP start and interviews being held either in person or MS Teams (depending on the needs of the individual)
