About the Role
Our Children in Care Team oversees all children in care across Northamptonshire, including those subject to legal proceedings and those with long-term care plans. We focus on building meaningful relationships with young people, their families, and carers to ensure effective planning for every child's future.
This is a fast-paced, rewarding role where you'll:
- Conduct clear, accurate assessments.
- Coordinate multi-agency approaches.
- Build positive, strength-based relationships.
- Attend court confidently and independently when required.
You'll work closely with colleagues in the Leaving Care Service and external partners to deliver positive outcomes for children and families.
About You
- Qualified, registered Social Worker with completed ASYE.
- Experienced in court work and confident attending hearings independently.
- Passionate about delivering best practice and supporting children, young people, and families.
- Strong communicator with the ability to build positive relationships.
- Skilled in analysis and decision-making to deliver purposeful social care.
