Opus People Solutions are seeking a Shipping & Logistics Coordinator to join a local team on a 6 month FTC.
You will:
Processing of all National and International imports/exports via various third party portals
Generate and provide all dispatch and shipping documents to the factory and the customer in line with scheduled departures
Arrangement of dangerous goods, organic and controlled substance shipping by sea, road and air
Optimise delivery schedules to ensure Customers and the bussinesses needs are met in a cost effective manner
Conduct frequent communication with carriers, update transport status internally by way of defined systems and highlight potential delays directly within the team.
Manage external warehouse operations and assist with internal warehouse storage management.
Use of multiple software packages & various spreadsheets to process and read data
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Particularily interested in speaking with applicants that have previous knowledge of working with standards e.g. ISO etc. and have shipped dangerous goods.
The role is office based.
