Opus People Solutions on behalf of Brentwood Borough Council are recruiting for a Refuse Driver To participate in all aspects of waste collections and take responsibility for collection route ensuring completion and reporting any issues that may occur to the line manager.

The successful candidate must hold a CPC and CLASS 2 driving licence.

As a Refuse Driver you will:

• Manoeuvre the vehicle always ensuring the safety of your colleagues and members of the public and sought assistance from your team members whenever reversing
• Act as the 'Team Leader' and be responsible for the team ensuring all Health and Safety policies are followed and the correct PPE is worn at all times whilst on duty by yourself and the team.
• Take responsibility for the allocated vehicle always following road traffic laws and Council safety policies. In addition, ensuring all daily checks are completed and faults reported to the appropriate department.

• Location- Brentwood CM13 3BH
• 37 hours per week
• Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm
• Early finish on a Friday
• ASAP start
