In January we announced our new charity partnership for 2019 with Inspire Suffolk, a charity dedicated to supporting young people onto a positive future. As May approaches, we have been reflecting on some of the support we have provided so far:
In February we hosted an ‘Eat Your Heart Out’ Valentines themed bake sale raising £291.80. Opus employees were tasked with baking Valentine’s themed sweet and savoury treats and they rose to the challenge with an array of pink and red cakes.
We also attended Inspire Suffolk’s annual curry night in February supported by Bombay Nite. The team enjoyed a three-course meal, welcome drink and entertainment with all proceeds going to the charity. The horse racing games were the highlight of the evening with one lucky Opus employee winning £75 on the night!
In April, Paul Lowes (Managing Director), Brad Sinclair (Finance Director) and Charlotte Banks (Personal Assistant) attended Inspire Suffolk’s Staff and Student Awards Ceremony to celebrate the amazing successes of young people who have overcome some of the biggest challenges’ life could have thrown at them.
We were delighted to sponsor the ‘Inspirational Young Person’ award where Paul had the pleasure of presenting the winner Dean Lambert with his award.

We are hosting a quiz night on 21st May in Endeavour House with quiz master Simon Jay. For more information contact [email protected].
We will be joining forces with golfers from Concertus and Vertas on 6th June to take part in Inspire Suffolk’s annual golf day at Ufford Park. We will also be sponsoring a hole as part of Suffolk Group Holdings. Pictures and results to follow!
